Dragoon Knight

This one took a little while for me to decide on what to do with it in terms of how it should appear....
...but I completed it as I usually do... with the cell-shade category of coloring....

In this day and age of guns and blasters, the Dragoons have chosen a path filled with intensive focus and training in their assaults upon enemies. While they primarily do not use any conventional ranged weapons, a single Dragoon relies usually upon a long-poled weapon, prefferably a spear or lance. Often their attacks involve their ability to leap incredible distances, closing the gap between their them and their targets. This performance of athletic skill coupled with an armour crafted from an extremely rare material enables the Dragoon to become a fighting force to be reconned with.
The armour itself, only after recent discoveries, has been found to be composed of a complex system of components, each designed to integrate extremely well with one another in order to aid the wearer. Since the only Dragoons encountered by the Terran Federation have only been Mer (see above) or Rokale, it is understandable that the materials are each highly sensitive to psyionic resonance vibrations. While much of actual suit is composed of currently unknown materials, the core component has been identified as a heart dynamo, found in the ruins of dragon engines that litter the planets surrounding Mer and Rokale dominated systems (see entry in: "Mer, Ancient History-Legends: The Great Dominion War"). This heart dynamo, though no doubt drastically drained of energy, is capable of maintaining the Dragoon's suit functions; including armor repairs, sensory enhancers (assorted fin formations on helmet), wing-"jump"-boosters, and strength amplifiers (found throughout exoskeleton).
Historically, the Dragoons have been known to work primarily amongst themselves, including the establishment of a particular Monestary, assigned under the jurisdiction of the Great Templars. Although this is the traditional path of an individual Dragoon, there have been reports of various freelancers making their way across the galaxy, all of whom without a definite choosing of an alliance. Perhaps these warriors will one day come to great use to the Federation.
